Originating the role of Mary in Staged Reading of WAY OUT THERE IN THE DESERT by Paul Wallace
Megan originated the role of Mary in WAY OUT THERE IN THE DESERT by Paul Wallace as part of Outta Bounds Productions Warehouse Works Inaugural Reading Series in Brooklyn. The play spins a yarn about a broken family rooted to each other by bond of blood and the devilish magic of desert life. The cast was rounded out by Jenn Plotzke, Rob Howard, Mitchell One, and Deb Rupy, and was directed by Andrew J. Beck. Outta Bounds Productions hopes to mount a fully staged production early 2025.
Performed by a company of 26 actors from the greater NYC Metropolitan area, The Warehouse Works Reading Series showcases the diverse talents of rebel and vagabond actors, directors, designers, writers, and performance artists who push the boundaries of traditional theater. This event serves to ignite a demand for live theatre in the currently under-utilized industrial Bushwick area, and to provide unforgettable storytelling to the artistic communities of Brooklyn, NY.
